I am worried about you.. From your past posts you don’t have a over weight problem. You exercise a lot. You eat very little. A part of you calorie intake comes from food replacement bars and shakes. You are asking about coffee. Are you wanting to speed up your heart. That’s what coffee does as far a metabolism goes.

I messed with metabolism products that say they speed up metabolism(they speed up your heart). Now after not taking them for a long time my heart speeds up and slows down 150 beats to 50 beats per minutes at rest and asleep. I am taking medication for it Metoprolol Generic for Toprol. My heart still messes up.

      You don’t want that.

    5. teihesacchrlk says:

Metabolism. Obviously though everyone is different. Have you investigated any other reason for your heart rate.I The majority of people who drink caffeine all their lives haven’t experienced this effect. I am not pro caffeine it is not healthy for you. It dehydrates and ages you. Have you investigated what other aspects could have caused this?

    6. iolodk1liwwti2ni3 says:

My problem was not. caused by coffee I don’t think.

I don’t know that fat burners caused it either. This I do know neither one helped.

It gets me how people are looking for that something that if they take it everything will be OK.

At times I am one of them. A couple of weeks ago I was side tracked. Then I asked myself,”Why am I doing this?” what I was doing before was working. I went back to what I had been doing before.

Healthy eating is the only right answer.

Milk. True and is good for you!

    8. j17p2 says:

problem with milk taste?. I use vanilla soy milk (light and organic) which is comparable nutrient wise to fat free milk but with less sugar.

    9. CririaolGanl17 says:

taste good?. in coffee? I may try it. I bought some sugar free but it still has lots of sat fat.

    10. MnaEphmaalet says:

Half & Half. I just budget it in. It’s worth it, I love it, & I get a treat every day.

I make “British” tea, sweet & creamy.(Half stevia, half sugar.)

    11. j7p12 says:

I didn’t like the stevia. I had to put a ton in my coffee to even taste it and I like my coffee sweet!

    12. bskiithead says:

have you tired Sucanat?. Its wonderful in coffee and because of its flavor you dont need a ton.

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sucanat

    13. j7p12 says:

is it the same as. raw can sugar? Thats what I use. I haev baked with it before too and it turned out awesome. I use it for all sugar needs,

except for my oatmeal which gets agave nectar…love it…

    14. bhaeskiitd says:

its an “unrefined” cane sugar. “Sucanat (a contraction of “Sugar Cane Natural”) is non-refined cane sugar.[1] Unlike refined and processed white sugar, Sucanat retains its molasses content; it is essentially pure dried sugar cane juice. The juice is extracted by mechanical processes, heated and cooled at which point the small brown grainy crystals are formed.”

    15. jp712 says:

yeah I got that. I was wondering if raw cane sugar was the same thing or is it a more refined version, but not stripped completely like white sugar.

    16. bstiiahked says:

From what I found…. Apparently this is what makes them different. Sorry I didnt have a definite clarification earlier.

      How raw sugar is made

“Sugar cane is initially pressed and the juice is then mixed with lime to achieve the desired ph balance and to help settle out impurities. The resulting liquid is reduced through evaporation, then a centrifuge used to separate sugar crystals. It is then dried further to produce granules. The brown color of raw sugar is due to presence of molasses.”

“In the case of Sucanat™, however, the sugar cane juice is simply heated and then allowed to cool, forming granular crystals of what is basically dried sugar cane juice. The Sucanat™ retains the molasses, creating a very distinctive and quite strong flavor, along with other impurities which may be present in the cane. Unlike more refined sugar, Sucanat™ is grainy, rather than blocky and crystalline. It also contains less sucrose, because it is has not been purified; white sugar contains the most sucrose, and is in fact almost entirely sucrose.”

    17. j7p12 says:

okie. Thanks I’m assuming they’re the same but raw cane sugar is just dried differently. It does have a different flavor than regular sugar. I’m a fan :)

Next time I’m looking to buy sugar I”ll try the sucanat.

    18. bhiiseaktd says:

I really like the. Sucanat and my hubby LOVES it for his coffee (cant get him to break the caffeine addiction).

    19. MEmlapaehnat says:

That’s why I put half sugar-. but you are right, it does taste funny.

I guess it’s better than chemical aspartamine (sp?)

    20. tscilrahcheek says:

Sweetener. Try the Agave Cactus Sweetener. It’s awesome and no after taste (Stevina made me sick but all artificial sweeteners do) it’s from Cactus and you can get it at Trader Joes. Consistency of Honey.

    21. j7p12 says:

Don’t taste. the soy too much but I’m also used to it by now since I eat it on my cereal and in my oatmeal. I even drink it after the gym sometiems if its late in the evening. you get used to it, and I like that its a little sweet.

There are a ton of milk substitutes out there like rice and almond milk too.

    22. beshtaiikd says:

and Hemp milk. the chocolate is good

    23. MeaampnEahlt says:

I’m gonna try Sucanat-forgot all about it. §.

    24. CrGalrnliioa17 says:

Thanks. I will have to get some next time I go to the store and esp try in my oatmeal. I got down my first whole bowl of oatmeal today. I hate oatmeal haha

    25. tihrshelcaeck says:

Oatmeal. Try the Steel cut Oats from Trader Joes. There much, much better for you! With fruit and a little Cactus sweetener, awesome.

    26. beaishitkd says:

Red Mill products are equally good. if you are unfortunate enough to not have a TJ’s nearby.

    27. soy_latte says:

I’m a soy milk junkie, too…. I use vanilla soy milk in everything– even cooking savory dishes! Probably sounds weird, but I really like using it in mac n’ cheese. Gives it a little hint of something.

    28. jp712 says:

who would have thought. you like soy milk…I mean its not like theres a possible hint in your name…. ;)

    29. tacechhielsrk says:

Milk. Like everything else in life to much is not good. We do need some milk in our diet. To much soy milk is not healthly either

    30. 2gadnros says:

Silk Coffee Creamer. Silk makes a soy milk coffee creamer that is actually pretty good. It’s usually in the milk area of the grocery store. They have flavored ones too, like hazelnut.

    31. Cralr1iolGani7 says:

is silk and soy milk. lower in fat and cals or just not processed?

    32. j1p72 says:

silk and soy milk. silk is a brand of soy milk. You can get light versions and regular versions so there are different variations on macronutrient levels.

Many are organic but I’m not sure what you’re specifically trying to ask.

    33. tahrlecichesk says:

Creamer. Just do not buy the sugar free! Artifical sweeteners tell your body to store fat. I buy the Fat Free when I can find it otherwise regular. Do not use artificial sweeteners. Look into it it is TRUE!
