ok so some basic q’s…. i thought i understood what it would include and then my bf and i were talking and he got me all confused.

my understanding was the “system” would basically just be meal planning for pwo and anytime meals. and that he would explaining the reasoning behind eating that way (stuff i’ve been told is basically all up on tnation anyways but still good to have compiled). i wasn’t sure if he gave any recommendations for caloric intake based on goals (for after you get the basic rules down).

i didn’t think there were any recommended workouts with it or really anything else. my BF seems to think there are workouts (i know you’re allowed internet access to some suggestions but i didn’t think they were required).

so i guess i don’t really have a specific q, as much as i just want an overview of what to expect. we’re going to get it soon and i guess i could wait, but i’m so confused/curious now.

any (brief) summary is greatly appreciated.

It’s really quite simple Part I:. 1. Eat every 2-3 hours, no matter what. You should eat between 5-8 meals per day.

      2. Eat complete, lean protein with each meal.

      3. Eat fruits and/or vegetables with each food meal.

      4. Ensure that your carbohydrate intake comes from fruits and vegetables. Exception: workout and post-workout drinks and meals.

      5. Ensure that 25-35% of your energy intake comes from fat, with your fat intake split equally between saturates (e.g. animal fat), monounsaturates (e.g., olive oil), and polyunsaturates (e.g. flax oil, salmon oil).

      6. Drink only non-calorie containing beverages, the best choices being water and green tea.

      7. Eat mostly whole foods (except workout and post-workout drinks).

Part II:. PN is just about eating. There are no workouts, although buying the book gives you access to the website which includes dozens of workouts for all kinds of goals. I believe Chick Pea found a great workout for martial arts.

After you’re 90% compliant to way of eating, the book teaches you how to tweak the calories using the same kind of results trackers that you see other places on the internet.

thanks.. that’s what i thought it was going to be. we were debating just getting GN 1 and 2. i figure we might as well get the whole thing (it’s on sale until mid dec- and GN1 is a

      bonus lol).

i figured it was just going to be stuff i’ve read from him already, but compiled in once place. and that’s what it sounds like form every review i’ve read.

i just got confused after talking to the bf- go figure :P

      okey dokey… thanks bob.

i read. a bloggist who followed it for awhile.

i doubt that would help me answer your questions, but i’m curious to know what your q’s are, anyhow.
