    2. K2kc1naleB00 says:

don’t forget…. carrots are great in smoothies! I personally have a banana, and carrot smoothie almost daily.. Lots of vitamins, and tastes great.

    3. jaan1no8 says:

i have never tried. that combo before. i do love carrots though (i make carrot soup a few times a week). i’m thinking that juicing the carrot first would probably make the consistency better.

one package of oatmeal with some PB2. That’s only 150 cals, and sadly lacking protein, and I know I will prob get hungry again, so for a “snack” later, I have a Boca burger patty with a wedge of LC light cheese. (140 cals.)

    5. M7hna7sgT69 says:

oatmeal, craisins,. banana and some cinnamon. Large iced.

I had 2 Gin & OJ’s last night, BIG glasses and I feel like ass.

That’s what I get for drinking.

No appitite today. thanks to this cold. But here shortly I’m going to talk myself into eating 2 HB eggs, spinach, and whole grain toast.

This cold is definately going to help me meet my goal for the end of this week. No appitite and all I want to do is drink water and sleep! lol.

big breakfast!. Now that I don’t have class until 10 on Wednesdays, I can take advantage of the big, healthy, and FREE sit-down breakfast my morning job offers.

I had a small cup of oatmeal with brown sugar and bananas, a hard boiled egg, a small bran muffin, and some cantaloupe and strawberries. Also, lots of coffee and some water.

For snacks, I have an abundance of fruit and a greek yogurt.

    8. oaidarglodl says:

do you work in a hotel?. i used to like the breakfasts in hotel cafeterias, but generally hated everything else, and mainly ate from the salad bar…

    9. ctbnneoae says:

no. I work with a choir associated with the Rotary Club. We rehearse before their morning meetings, which provide breakfast. It’s a pretty sweet deal!

    10. siiksahnppgrlrape says:

1/2 grapefruit, and Greek yogurt. with a bit of superfruit preserves and granola. And coffee with milk. I’m thirsty this morning, so more water than usual, too.

    11. Keakn2c1B0l0 says:

mmm.. grapefruits… I wish I could get grapefruits here, but they are import and very expensive.

    12. slrpsppinagkahrie says:

bummer :( . I love grapefruit with breakfast! I’m not a big fan of winter in general, but I’m sad to see it go every year because it means the end of grapefruit season.

    13. j1naano8 says:

i agree!. i’ve been juicing grapefruits a lot lately. i’m not a fan of grapefruits in general but the juice is just the perfect post-workout refreshment.

    14. ameabecrh says:

good morning. i had the best of intentions to start my day off right. woke up at 4:30 am ready to get a long-ish run in on a new route but then realized i couldn’t due to car issues so i couldn’t drive to the planned route. so, i got dressed to run outside on my usual neighborhood route (reflecting slap bracelets and all gosh darn it) and realized it was sleeting. i will run in the rain or snow, but running for fun in the sleet is a whole ‘nother story, especially in the dark. so, i resorted to plan c which was the 30 day shred. afterwards i had a couple of hours before i had to be at work, so i utilized the time to get some chores done around the house.

not exactly the “right” start to the day that i expected, but it was productive nonetheless.

onto breakfast: i had a banana before working out, and awhile afterwards had 3 eggs scrambled with spinach, cherry tomatoes, green bell pepper, cabot 50% light pepper jack cheese and mushrooms.

also had the usual coffee with a splash of milk and cinnamon, and there’s an apple if i’m hungry before lunch.

    15. kocirilpiuips says:

i would consider that. the best start to a day ever! Except for the car issues. If that series of events had happened to me, I would have taken it as a sign to go back to bed! You got more done before 6:30 than many people will do all day!

    16. sspehurnaya says:

Awesome that you found a way to make it work! §.

    17. ameebcrah says:

thanks to you both. i am feeling pretty productive today….

but did i miss the memo that christmas is celebrated this month, too? i’m seeing a lot of red and green here in difo this morning :P must be the silly elves at the north pole or something…..it was sleeting, and now this!

    18. shueyrapsna says:

LOL, yes, I too was getting a kick out that. someone must be pretty bored to go through and neg every post. Perhaps “someone’s” time might be better spent working out…

    19. kuiciioilpprs says:

i guess it’s going to be. one of those days. Dammit. I really didn’t want to do any work today, but all this negative (and positive!) energy is killing my CL buzz.

    20. sysnpehaura says:

yeah, I’ve had to give up some forums. because of the rampant negativity (and/or outright psychosis.) I used to chat in the Women’s Forum, and finally couldn’t take it anymore. One of my resolutions was to NEVER go to that forum again.

Coffee. Woke up and had a cup of coffee with some splenda and almond milk. I plan on switching to decaf this weekend. I would’ve done it sooner but with starting classes this week, I really didn’t want to suffer with caffeine headaches and school work.

One egg and one veggie patty. Plan to have some string cheese before heading out to school to keep me from starving by lunch.

Exercise = 15 minute walks to school (I go and come back atleast 2 times so that’s atleast 45 minutes a day).

Also taking a stretch/flexibility class on Mondays and Wednesdays.

    24. soy_latte says:

You’re brave!. Good luck on switching to decaf. I work FT and I’m a FT student also… I couldn’t imagine my life without at least one cup of caffeinated coffee a day!

    25. soy_latte says:

Finally got my appetite back today…. So breakfast was one cup cooked oat bran with a scoop of vanilla whey protein, topped with 1/4 of roasted mashed kabocha (stevia, hemp milk, and cinnamon), all topped with a big spoonful of crunchy pb and a little honey. Hit the spot… So elated to be eating today. I feel much better.

I’ve had the WORST cravings for PBJ sandwiches. I might have to give in later today.

    26. nadvoaly says:

breakfast. 2 hard boiled eggs and some shredded wheat with skim milk. Filling, but not very exciting.

    27. dltea9 says:

    32. rgnernliajnyy says:

Things have been crazy at work and at home, and on top of it I’ve got the beginnings of some kind of sinusy cold going on. Yippee.

none for me today…. I spent all morning trying to get out of my parking pad and alley. We had rain overnight that froze and made a mess. :(

    40. odriadoalgl says:

just got up. sleepy head today (it’s court closure day, i don’t have to work.) having coffee and watching a charmed rerun.

probably will have some of the coconut yogurt i made, maybe with a little fruit and a hard boiled egg.

    41. BsllOen says:

breakfast was a slice of whole wheat toast. with butter, a fried egg, and a link of turkey sausage, plus coffee.

Exercise will be dance class and walking.

I’m debating whether to sign up for a belly dance class. I hope my hips can still shimmy!

    42. ssissuye says:

OOOHHH I wanna go!!. I don’t have anybody to take a class with me. My sister-n-law said she was going to start working out with me and of course that hasn’t happened yet. Been 2 weeks since she said it.

    43. BOllesn says:

just head up to Seattle sissy!. It’s warmer here than it is in Florida.

    44. rlnerjnignayy says:

i LOVED bellydancing!. I was horrible at it, because I have absolutely no coordination, but it was so much fun! Plus, I felt like a goddess…really powerful and feminine.

    47. BsleOln says:

when I lived. in the south end of Seattle I took lessons and loved it, but I’ve never found a teacher that I liked as well in this part of town. I haven’t taken lessons from this woman before, so maybe it’s time to give it another try.

    48. DS2aagnsehinens says:

Dooo iiiiit! I bet those hips don’t lie! ;) §.

    49. janao1n8 says:

belly dancing is awesome!. my hips get so sore from it and it’s just fun to let loose.

have you tried pole dancing before? that is such a tough arm workout… the only downfall is that you get totally covered in bruises.

    50. Daiah2egSnnsnes says:
