One that hit me: Purging. For all the people who post here about the “Master Cleanse” — the cleaning they should be doing is of their pantries and shopping lists.
Lots of other good stuff on there, nothing particularly surprising. I’d disagree with on inclusion and one exception: “moving frequently at a slow pace” — I’d emphasize the importance of intense cardio. Those intervals matter.
And the list doesn’t include strength training. That, after poor diet, is one of the biggest failings I see on most people’s fitness programs.
Agreed. I also thought the intermittent fasting. suggestion was an interesting one. I still think encouraging people to exercise while fasting is dangerous, but what the heck do I know.
yeah, I disagreed with the fasting thing & the. “moving slow” exercise thing. I don’t think you have to always go full speed ahead, but you should at least feel slightly challenged.
yeah, i have no idea why that wouldn’t be there. he’s very pro strength training.
