  • Hello Diet Forum!. I’ve been dieting and excersizing for the last few weeks (very proud of myself) and I have notice I have probably lost a few pounds. The weird thing about it is I feel like I’m losing it in the smallest places, like my back, fingers, arms, calves, ect. I thought I would be losing it from the fattiest parts first! Is this normal??

    Also quickly, I just wanted to say that reading the positivity on this forum has really boosted my self esteem and made me feel okay about praising myself for making good choices, so thank you! I finally feel like I am on the right path to happiness and healthiness.

  • Breakfast and who’s the coldest game. Morning, Difo! I woke up this morning to our expected 2-degree temperature with a -15 windchill! I knew I wasn’t going to attempt my morning run in that weather. I would have done a workout DVD, but I didn’t have one that fit well within my goals for the day (cardio. I’ve been going to boot camp every other day, so I didn’t want to do anymore circuit stuff or any kind of lifting).

    Anyway, I wanted a hot breakfast, but I stuck with my planned hard-boiled eggs, sprouted grain toast, spinach, half a red bell pepper and flax seed oil. I’m having coffee now.

    Anyone colder than me? Did you have a hot breakfast to make up for it?

  • Food Plan for diet. So how does this sound- morning is either oatmeal, kashi cereal, or myoplex shake. snacks will be lunchmeat( all natural, low fat), or hardboiled eggs, or celery and PB. And dinner is the usualy, spaghetti, chicken breasts- something along those lines. Im not going for ay one diet in particular, just a common sense thing. I also work out doing the p90x tapes, and live in the bitter cold. Am I getting enough calories? Is it balanced?

  • I’m tired of the typical spagetti…. with the Prego Traditional sauce and my signature spicy habanero ground beef. Are there any other cheap alternatives? Can I cook up something good with the spagetti pasta? Any recommendations? I’m a recent grad paying off student loans trying to eat healthy and economically. Any good comments would be appreciated.
