• Has anyone here ever heard of Evos?. I just saw an ad for this place. It’s a restaurant that focuses on healthy fast food. All their meat is organic, no hormones, etc. “Fries” are air-baked instead of fried. Healthy wraps and salads. Two kind of veggir burger patties (one soy-based meat imitation and one veggie.) Low-fat organic shakes. I didn’t get a chance to check it out, not sure it would be the best fit for me still as I don’t do the bread/potatoes thing, but sounded interesting. Apparently it’s a slow-growing chain that will be nation-wide eventually.

  • why oh why….. dear cafe, would you put a fresh warm white bread baguette in with my SALAD. the whole damn point of the salad was to avoid the bread?!?! why oh why. now it is in my drawer, taunting me. hopefully being saved for some preworkout munching. but i’ve already given into a few bites.

  • fibromyalgia and carbs. has anyone else noticed the connection between fibro symptoms and carbs? When ever I watch my carbs, stay away from pasta, bread, and rice, and eat well I feel great. When I eat something bad I feel like crap! Anyone else?

  • G’morning everyone I’ve lost 7 lbs. I just started eating healthy (not a diet) on 6/11 did not start exercising until 6/16 and I thought I’d wait a few days to see if any weight came back on from the weekend but NO! So 7 lbs gone FOREVER! 63 lbs to go. I would like to get down to 165 but I’ll be happy when I see 199! I’m so excited!! Thanks everyone for your advise and support! :)

    Please please please reconsider having some old-fashioned oatmeal with almonds and sliced apples instead – plenty of lovely fiber.

  • Okay so how is this?. Here is how I eat

    Very little fast food

    Not a soda person, love water

    I am a huge meat eater love fish, steak, beef only in spaghetti and major chicken eatter.

    I eat a lot of tuna, spaghetti, tuna noodle, home made mac n cheese, instant potatos, canned green beans and corn, artichokes, salad, tomatos, lunch meat, little or no mayo not big on it. i have a small chocolate something after dinner, i eat yogurt, fruit, pretzels, we usually eat the boxes of sides noodles or rices (not a lot of money to make our own) we have to make 100.00 last us a month. Homemade nachos, bbq anything we can, i want to learn what fresh cheap veggies and such we can eat for cheap. was big on bananaas but now they’re going bad to fast. i eat doroitos from time to time, cooked up onions..sure there is more….
